If your child is seeking admission to Primary 2 to 5 or Secondary 1 to 3, you can submit an online application form to begin the process. What’s the Difference Between AEIS and S-AEIS?

Both the AEIS (Admissions Exercise for International Students) and S-AEIS (Supplementary Admissions Exercise for International Students) are designed to assess whether a student is suitable for placement in Singapore’s mainstream schools. The key differences lie in the timing of the exams and the levels of admission they support.

• AEIS is usually scheduled for September or October, and is meant for admission in the following academic year. It covers Primary 2 to 5 and Secondary 1 to 3.
• S-AEIS, on the other hand, usually takes place in February and is for mid-year admission into Primary 2 to 4 and Secondary 1 to 2 of the same academic year.

In short, the AEIS gives students a chance to join in January of the next year, while the S-AEIS offers entry in Term 2 of the same year.
